Dubrovnik Event helped us to organize our wedding last September. Working with them was a truly incredible experience.

They are a team of extremely professional, organized and competent ladies. I found them online, wrote them, and they responded promptly. Initially, we discussed the budget. A few days later, I received a very reasonable proposal, with multiple options that fit what we initially discussed.

I spoke to a number of wedding planners all over the world before hiring DE. And what stood out to me about DE was that they didn’t push for a specific amount from the start. I appreciated their flexible approach and their confidence that we could host an amazing event within whatever parameters we set.

They were prompt and responsive to questions. Matea was our point of contact, and she is a fantastic, friendly, professional, sharp lady who was so sweet and so patient with me especially right before the wedding. I can’t thank her enough.

Our guests were mostly from the NYC area, and used to a high level of service, and many commented that our event was so smooth, elegant, and professionally organized. DE went above and beyond to ensure our guests were treated amazingly.

We trusted DE to help us organize our special day and to be our brains onsite while we were in NYC for the entirety of the preparation stages. Being unable to view locations and meet vendors in person poses particular challenges. DE did their best to keep us at ease meeting with us regularly via video chat. We’re so extremely happy that we put our trust in them. It totally paid off.

Dear Ines, Matea, Ora and Antonia,

It’s been a few days since we returned back from our trip and it feels like we’ve returned back to earth from a dream land!

We cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us! All our guests were so surprised and impressed by the quality of your work, your kindness, attention to detail and level of professionalism. From the perfect set up at the ceremony and reception, to little things like fixing my dress before walking down the aisle, holding the microphone for my dad’s speech, making sure I’m hydrated throughout the day, and granting our last minute changes… We noticed all of it and are so grateful. We are in awe of how you managed to make everything so perfect and flow seamlessly that day!

Part of me is relieved and feels calm that it’s over. I am so happy that we were able to create such a beautiful memory with our family and friends that we will remember for the rest of our lives. There were many times when I didn’t think any of this was possible and now it feels like a miracle. I could never have dreamed of it being so perfect! Another part of me is a little sad though… Planning and communicating with you was such a big part of my life for the past year and I will miss it…

We feel incredibly fortunate to have known you and worked with you and couldn’t have imagined a better team to plan our wedding. Keep doing what you do! You are great at it! And we will cheer you on from Instagram!

Maybe we cross paths again one day! I hope so…

LADIES!!!

My most favorite ladies of all Croatia. I don’t think I have ever been surrounded by such a FANTASTIC team of women (who aren’t my immediate friends and family lol). AND who are able to run such a tight, loveable, positive ship like you all can.
I could not stop raving about every one of you, not only on our wedding day but also after. And Vinay feels 100% the same – your calmness, your kindness, and your willingness to go above and beyond, especially in understanding and knowing what was important to us, created the most magical day ever.
My only regret is that I couldn’t stay on the Island with you all to hang out and party / watch the films with my film professor husband after!!!
Thank you for everything from the bottom of our hearts. I truly hope our paths do cross again very soon.

Where do we even begin! Ines, Matea and Ana are truly the most genuine, caring and honest professionals! My husband and I had our wedding in Dubrovnik in July and it was truly a dream because of this amazing team. Honestly, everyone tells you there will be at least one thing that goes wrong in your wedding and you should be ok with it, but with this team, there was absolutely nothing that went wrong! We are so beyond grateful and thankful we had the opportunity to work with them. From monthly check-ins leading to the wedding day, to the tiniest details that we weren’t even aware of, Ines, Matea and Ana took take care of every step of the way and took away all the stress. I’m so sorry it’s been so long writing you something on your website, I wasn’t sure where to write it but here’s something for you and the website (if you want to use anything, feel free to do so!)

From the initial enquiry with Ines on Instagram, we knew Dubrovnik Events was the company we wanted to use to plan our destination wedding. 

The very first communication with Matea, our dedicated wedding planner, she completely put our minds at ease, gaining an idea of our inspiration and requirements, while bearing our budget in mind. 

Throughout the entire process, she was so efficient dealing with our multiple questions and was the point of contact with all the suppliers, which made things so much easier for us whilst organising a destination wedding in Dubrovnik.

We thought it may be difficult to arrange all the legalities for a civil ceremony in another country but it was made very clear on what was required, even to the point that Matea arranged to meet us at the registry office whilst in Dubrovnik to act as a translator with the officiants.

When we arrived in Dubrovnik for our wedding week, Matea arranged for us to meet in person, along with our suppliers. We felt as though we had been friends for years and we’re made to feel very relaxed, nothing was too much trouble.

Once all the formalities and final details had been determined, she was on hand to answer any questions we needed on the few days prior to the wedding, which, again, put our minds completely at ease furthermore.

On the day of the wedding Matea was absolutely incredible. She coordinated all the timings of the day so everyone knew where they were meant to be and when. 

We travelled in the car together along with my Mum and Dad and the bridesmaids behind, she was by my side throughout so I knew I was in very safe hands.

All our guests commented on how perfect and seamless the day ran and what a wedding planner she was. 

Every attention of detail was considered, from delivering the flowers and putting on the bottom holes, to coordinating the bridesmaids walking down the aisle to the very last point of us cutting the cake and enjoying our evening reception. 

Matea is such an amazing planner. I cannot quite put into words how incredible our day was and we will be forever grateful for everything she did.

On behalf of my husband and I, we would like to while heartily thank you for everything you did to make our day thee most perfect celebration and memory that will stay with us forevermore.

Dubrovnik Event are unreal. THE BEST of the best. They are amazing at what they do and execute it flawlessly. Matea and Ines made sure our wedding day was the most magical day, with the most stunning venue, set up, flowers, music, photographer and support throughout. It was totally stress free, as we could 100% trust and be assured that Matea and Ines had everything organised, which meant we could savour and enjoy every minute.Their knowledge and suppliers are first class.

Not only the big day, but the planning was so easy and enjoyable, Matea and Ines are such lovely people with the most amazing energies, so it was an absolute pleasure to plan with them. We first contacted DE in January 2019, we flew to Dubrovnik in the June, met Ines and had a look at some venues. From the moment I met Ines, I knew she was special and I would be able to put all of my trust in her to plan my destination wedding!!

Skip to 2021 and COVID is still lingering, we had to change our plans as we could not have the 70 person wedding we had planned. The original date was July 2021 and in May 2021 we decided to change tact and elope, so it was quite last minute, with only 2 months to go!

As it was going to be just the 2 of us, I was slightly worried that it would not be the big wedding I had always dream of, but I could not have been more wrong! It was more amazing than I could ever have imagined and that is all down to Matea and Ines, for planning it to perfection!!

Matea will always have a special place in my heart, for being my stand-in Maid of Honour whilst I got ready into my dress and escorting me to the ceremony, helping to feel so relaxed and excited <3

I’m glad you found us easy to deal with. Especially because I’m such a detailed person, it can be frustrating for others sometimes 🙈 It was an absolute pleasure to deal with you and Matea too – I’ll miss the excitement of getting emails about wedding planning (especially when I’m at work!).
Everyone deserved Prosecco on the wedding day. They actually deserved more than that to be honest; it was such a hot day and they had to work in those temperatures. We really really appreciated their efforts! Also special shout out to DJ Speed for playing one more song at the end of the night 😉 And obviously even more of a special shout out to Matea for keeping me calm on the day!
It’s hard to believe it’s been over a week since the wedding day – people are still messaging us to say what a great day it was. So many of the guests have said it was the best day of their lives which is unbelievable for me – I knew our wedding would be good, but I never expected it to reach the level of amazing that it did. It truly was the best day ever. We couldn’t have done it without you, Matea and everyone else you put us in touch with along the way.

Both me and Hamdi would like to thank you both for all your time and effort in planning this wedding and for having the patience to deal with 10000 of my emails.
Everyone had a lovely time and had only the nicest things to say about the venue.
The staff at Villa Arg/Sheh was very friendly and attentive, not to mention how lovely Miso and Dean were. From just the few pictures you sent over the other day we had tears in our eyes- really can’t wait to see all the pictures.
