Greetings from our Honeymoon here in sunny Naxos!
I hope you’ve all recovered from the excitement of the match on Wednesday. I had my Croatian jersey on here in Greece cheering you all on! Best of luck tomorrow – I don’t think anyone will sleep if you win!
Seriously though, we just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you did for us.
I knew we were in safe hands the first time I spoke to you over a year ago.
The time between our first call and first meeting in Dubrovnik went so fast. You helped us organise so much in the days we were there, with menu tasting, hair and make up trials. In particular though, the highlight was booking our ceremony venue for us about 20 minutes after we told you we wanted to get married in Sponza Palace!
I’ll never forget our first meeting with yourself, Marin and Vero. You were all so nice and funny and put us right at ease. We felt more like close friends then clients.
The year between our first meeting and our wedding flew in and the excitement that built waiting for our big day was only magnified by our hundreds of emails back and forth, always starting with a warm greeting.
Finally we were back in Dubrovnik for our big day with our family and friends and we couldn’t wait to see you all again.
Our pre-wedding photo shoot with Vero was hilarious, from climbing trees to jumping in the sea!
Then we had our final meeting with Marin, who as always was full of life and jokes, and telling Dave not to worry about the day!
On our wedding day I couldn’t have asked for more. You were there to make sure everything was running smoothly (which it did) and that I had eaten (which I had because I always take your advice! 😉 )
Sponza was incredible and you and your team did a fantastic job with the flowers and petals, every detail was perfect! The music was also incredible and really added to the atmosphere.
I can’t quite believe we managed to keep the boat a suprise but I’m delighted that we did because everyone loved it!!
Our reception was so much fun, I danced to nearly every song and had the best time ever!
The only time I wasn’t dancing was when I was eating our meal or when Vero took us down for our sunset photos! (which I am really looking forward to see)
Matea was amazing and made sure everyone was looked after, lit all the sparklers for the first dance and even managed to catch the bouquet!! 🙂
She is a credit to your team, full of smiles the whole night.
We wish we could replay the whole day again because we wouldn’t change a single thing. It was the most amazing day of our lives and that was due in no small part to all the work you and your team put in to it.
The BBQ in Copacabana was perfect the day after. Everyone commented on how great the food was and the staff went above and beyond with my sister’s birthday cake and decoration.
We will definitely be back to see you again, when we celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary like you and Marin.
Goodbye for now but please know you will always be in our hearts and thoughts and thank you for everything.
