I’m so sorry it’s been so long writing you something on your website, I wasn’t sure where to write it but here’s something for you and the website (if you want to use anything, feel free to do so!)
From the initial enquiry with Ines on Instagram, we knew Dubrovnik Events was the company we wanted to use to plan our destination wedding.
The very first communication with Matea, our dedicated wedding planner, she completely put our minds at ease, gaining an idea of our inspiration and requirements, while bearing our budget in mind.
Throughout the entire process, she was so efficient dealing with our multiple questions and was the point of contact with all the suppliers, which made things so much easier for us whilst organising a destination wedding in Dubrovnik.
We thought it may be difficult to arrange all the legalities for a civil ceremony in another country but it was made very clear on what was required, even to the point that Matea arranged to meet us at the registry office whilst in Dubrovnik to act as a translator with the officiants.
When we arrived in Dubrovnik for our wedding week, Matea arranged for us to meet in person, along with our suppliers. We felt as though we had been friends for years and we’re made to feel very relaxed, nothing was too much trouble.
Once all the formalities and final details had been determined, she was on hand to answer any questions we needed on the few days prior to the wedding, which, again, put our minds completely at ease furthermore.
On the day of the wedding Matea was absolutely incredible. She coordinated all the timings of the day so everyone knew where they were meant to be and when.
We travelled in the car together along with my Mum and Dad and the bridesmaids behind, she was by my side throughout so I knew I was in very safe hands.
All our guests commented on how perfect and seamless the day ran and what a wedding planner she was.
Every attention of detail was considered, from delivering the flowers and putting on the bottom holes, to coordinating the bridesmaids walking down the aisle to the very last point of us cutting the cake and enjoying our evening reception.
Matea is such an amazing planner. I cannot quite put into words how incredible our day was and we will be forever grateful for everything she did.
On behalf of my husband and I, we would like to while heartily thank you for everything you did to make our day thee most perfect celebration and memory that will stay with us forevermore.
