My dearest dearest Ines and Matea.
Where do I begin?
First of all, let me apologize for sending this email a few days later than the wedding.
I just got some free and quiet time after the wedding, and after getting back from the honeymoon.
On behalf of myself, Fadi, our families and loved ones I would like to first of all congratulate you and Matea and every Dubrovnikevent member on your professionalism and your miraculous approach towards our wedding. Fadi and I cannot describe you how much we enjoyed our wedding weekend. And this is all thanks to you guys. Everything from A to Z was super organized, super well managed and thought of. We were so happy that it turned out to be a great success, even better than we have imagined and more than we were expecting. Everyone congratulated us on this beautiful wedding and on choosing DubrovnikEvent as our planner.
Let me start from the pre-wedding white night. Please thank Klarisa for their amazing service. I got a lot of positive remarks on the food that it was incredible. And Katija our photographer, she was super cute and we can’t wait for her photos.
During the wedding day. I will start with Dubra and Barbara. Those two! What a great combination! Very friendly and very talented. Everyone was so happy with their looks, especially me. My hair and makeup, I couldn’t possibly dream of a better way to look on my wedding day.
David Mihoci and his team! They master everything. They are so zen and calm that it made us so assured. We loved it! They know exactly what they’re doing and we can’t wait for their photos and video to come out. I hope that won’t be very late though!
When I was leaving Villa Sheherezade heading to the Church. I saw Ivana setting up the tables in the garden. I noticed directly the top table decoration before its final look, and let me tell you how happy I was at that exact moment. Ivana did a great great job!! From the elegant bouquets, to the church decoration that was breath taking and to the table centerpieces that were super charming. Her input made our night more magical and sparkling. So please thank her so much for me and all of Le Salon staff who helped her.
The string quartet in the church made us so emotional and even made some guests cry. We were so happy they played in harmony with our priest’s mass in Arabic. They gave our wedding mass a more spiritual meaning and they turned our wedding ceremony into a sacred celebration full of depth and feelings. Thank you Ani so much!!
Zeljko! We love this guy! Super cool and talented. We’re so happy we had him at our welcome drink. We saw him again in Hvar in our honeymoon, it was so funny. We hugged him and thanked him.
Teatar!! Waw!! What a great band!! Their voices, the way they played. Super uplifting and made us all move and get up from our chairs. They changed the whole atmosphere of the dinner. I can’t believe we wanted to cancel them last minute. I am so glad we didn’t. We would highly recommend them to any couple who are looking to having a band at their big day.
The popcorn man and his machine! He played a big big role at our wedding, making it super fun and entertaining to everyone. There was a moment when I turned around and saw all our guests with popcorn bags including myself.
And oh the lighting at Villa Sheherezade. we can’t tell you how much our guests enjoyed moving from the dinner garden to the dancing area especially when they saw all the colorful vibrant lights. It was like they moved to another party. Also the dark red lights inside the villa was a great touch to our after party.
Please give my thanks to all the GVA staff, they did an amazing job. Everyone enjoyed the canapes, the food, the buffet, the drinks, the cake, the shots, the service. Everything turned out to be a great success. The GVA staff were very professional and amiable. We didn’t get any negative remark or complaint on anything. The were all high standard.
We hope we didn’t forget anyone!
I am trying to think of a negative comment to give you. But i can’t think of any!! We wished the balloons did not fly away at the Spanish steps. But I guess these things happen. We got some comments about the table numbers that were not very visible and our guests could not clearly see. And during the cake cutting we did not get our bottle of champagne Fadi and I. But please consider this as our constructive criticism. I’m sure you would find it very useful for your future events. But apart from those three little minor things, I have nothing else bad to say.
And finally Ines, we would like to thank you! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner for our big day! We are so happy we chose DubrovnikEvent, the ‘dream team’. You were on top of everything! Very focused, following up on every detail and attentive to everything that was happening. We even got remarkable comments from our families about you! Saying what a great woman she is. It’s thanks to you that Fadi, myself and our loved ones had the most heart warming weekend of our lives and a wedding that we will never ever forget. We couldn’t possibly thank you, Marin and Matea enough for what you did.
I apologize for the long email. But I had to give my feedback to you as a satisfied client but most importantly as a very happy married friend. We wish you and DubrovnikEvent all the success that you deserve in the coming future.
Until we meet again someday, who knows maybe in Beirut, maybe in Dubai or maybe even in Dubrovnik.
