(Spoiler: it’s not all yachts, peonies, and pastel macarons… but there’s always wine.)
Monday
We kick off the week with the pre-wedding client meeting—in person, at the wedding location.
Not just to “talk about the vibe,” but to walk through every moment of the day, step by step:
Where the bride will enter.
How the view will look when the sun hits the sunset time.
Where will they go for the first dance.
We map it all out, because doing this on Monday means there’s still time to pivot—and we always leave room for last-minute surprises.
After the site visit, we head straight back to the office, triple-check the plan, and confirm any changes with vendors so they have the maximum time to prep.
All before 10 a.m.
The rest of Monday? Office mode—emails, calls, and tending to our other eager clients so no one feels left behind. By the time the sun sets, we’ve touched base with everyone from the DJ to the design supplier, and Dubrovnik’s seagulls are our only background noise.
Tuesday
Tuesdays are deceptively calm. We purposely go light on meetings so we can catch up on the business side—proposals, invoices, and making sure last week’s leads get the attention they deserve.
We check on the printing—menus, place cards, signage—and follow up on flower orders to ensure every stem will arrive as ordered. The goal? To wrap all admin so the rest of the week can be 100% wedding-focused without the rest of the business crumbling in the background.
Wednesday
The office transforms into a production studio.
We’re checking seating plans, grouping place cards, packing thank-you notes, sorting welcome gifts, and reviewing ceremony cues.
It’s the kind of day where your desk is buried under ribbons, envelopes, and enough washi tape to decorate a small city. The smell of freshly printed cards mixes with coffee and peonies—and somehow, that’s exactly how it should smell midweek.
Thursday
If Aunt Gladys cancels or Cousin Elena decides she’s bringing her three kids, Thursday is where we adapt. We’re redoing seating charts, tweaking food counts, and checking if extra high chairs need to be added.
We inspect every piece of equipment—from microphones to fairy lights—and prep everything for transport to the venue. Thursday is “no stone unturned” day. Phoning our ‘Day Before’ vendors and locations to see if they have all the necessary information and prep to host the welcome dinner!
By evening, we’ve got a final checklist in hand, the vans are loaded, and the champagne is chilling.
Friday
To some, Friday is the start of the weekend. To us? It’s final call time.
The morning is a rapid-fire sequence of phone calls—every vendor, every supplier—confirming times, deliveries, and positions.
The bride and groom are usually hosting a welcome dinner, so we’re making sure that’s flawless too. While they’re clinking glasses with guests, we’re ensuring the next day is bulletproof.
Friday night ends quietly: a deep exhale, a Dubrovnik sunset, and maybe a glass of wine on the balcony before the big one.
Saturday – Wedding Day
The day starts early, picking up the bride’s flowers ourselves—not because we have to, but because when she sees them, that spark in her eyes makes the early wake-up worth it.
She’s in hair and makeup, the team is in position, and we’re following the timeline like clockwork. Every team member is working their zone so we can focus entirely on the couple.
The ceremony is everything—if it runs perfectly, we’ve won the day. We’re locked in five minutes before, every detail ready. After that, the reception flows, the band plays, and the magic takes over.
We end the night barefoot, running on adrenaline and happiness, maybe with a chilled chardonnay under the stars.
Sunday
Post-wedding glow hits different when the feedback is happy tears and hugs that last longer than emails ever could. If you ask where we are on Sunday, you’ll be met with silence. This is the universal day off—respected without question.
Maybe we’re sleeping in, maybe we’re nowhere you can find us. But come Monday, we’ll be ready to do it all again.
So here’s to the wild ride that is wedding planning in Dubrovnik. We don’t just plan events. We live them—with grit, glitter, and unapologetic passion. Want in?
Let’s make your story legendary.
XOXO
